I seriously wonder what show of solidarity and sportsmanship was - TopicsExpress

I seriously wonder what show of solidarity and sportsmanship was there at a deceptive reconciliation dinner organized Gov Imoke as reported by Cross River Watch when sad faces were in display at the occasion. Anyone who studied body language will come to the conclusion the deception organized as a dinner further exposed the lack of unity within members seating at the table. Looking at the seated faces from Senator Ayade, Prince Jedy Agba, Joe Agi SAN, Hon. Emmanuel Ibeshi, Hon. Larry Odey and others -can anyone tell me how happy these faces are? There should be no doubts that the pleading continues at this late period within the PDP, and the organized dinner remains a testament to the unhappiness around these individuals...their sad faces says it all. Their dispositions conveyed a group unhappy with the current situation in the state. And it is more of reason for Cross Riverians to tell themselves the truth and challenge what is a considerable deception. Though these men may have come to the dinner table on the calling of Gov Imoke, the question to be asked is: How many of their political structures will work with the necessary passion for the delivery of Senator Ayade at the polls? Let me state clearly, there are very serious concerns within the PDP across the state as labour Party swings into the kind of opposition force unknow to electoral politics in Cross River since the Donald Duke governing days. Some must be in denial that Ugbo is a force or Senator Bassey Otu is a force or that many of todays constituted labour leaders are a force to contend with. The word on the streets and communities across Cross State is that citizens are not voting party but individuals. And that Mother & Pinkin is the political slogan making in roads -not the umbrella. Cross River must be rescued from the inflicted deception. Our children must be rescued from the spirit of deception. The future of Cross River cannot continue in deception. This is the hour to stand up to the deceptive practices in play. We must be ready to tell ourselves the real hard truths. We need a government that will not toy with the lifes of our people in a continued deceptive manner. Gov Liyel Imoke may have thanked the former aspirants who honored his invitation to the dinner and for their supposed show of solidarity for Senator Ayade and the PDP, I will advise him to accept responsibility for his deception leading up to the last state primaries which has led to the existing confusion in the state. The appeal to the aspirants to put all grievances from the party last primaries behind is nothing but a sorry state of affair, and Gov. Imokes notion on these members working to ensure Cross River delivers 100 percent for PDP is only but a late dreamers wish. The people are very unhappy. Let me say Senator Ben Ayade comes across a nice man but even at that, he must know what saw him to his current position was built out of a deceptive practice that must end in Cross River State politics. The distinguish Senator must recognize the entire PDP in Cross River State is not united, he should stop lying to himself. If there werent defections from PDP, I wonder why many former members have taking to labour Party across the state. Further more, if those in attendance had a successful dinner as stated by senator Ayade, and havent pledged to work in delivering for PDP at all levels -I hope he is of knowledge the dinner wasnt conducted for the ranking file -the foot soldiers, and for the common man in Cross River who is hungry for a plate of food and his crying for the release of withheld backed pay salary. Because the people of Cross River have a recognizable culture of polishness, they are prepared to rescue themselves from the deception they find themselves in currently in the February elections. And in the real field of electoral voting, they will ensure victory to themselves as no push over orders will be forthcoming from Gov Imoke. To this end, Ntufam Fidelis Ugbo whom many are fueling speculations about his move Labour Party already stands as the governorship candidate for the party, and all doubts should be put to rest. While Senator Ayade maintains that he has reached out to Ugbo, in truth he did so. Nonetheless, his optimistic view that Ugbo will not defect was nothing but a miscalculation on his part, and it does shows how the Senator undermined Ugbos steadfastness in rewriting the wrongs done before the peoples veey eyes. I will advise the distinguishe gentleman Senator to accept the reality that Ntufam Fidelis Ugbo has moved on to reclaim Cross River for Cross Riverians and the future of our children.
