I shot some interesting videos while no computer was at hand o lets see if they can be uploaded here! There is a story that goes along with this vid of a calf moose swimming in Chaunigan Lake....An adventure for Nick, Jenny and Maggie my two faithful companions. We set out early one crisp cool morning and hiked down the west side of the lake. After passing the last cabin we cut through the brush and wound our way over and under the blown down trees of yesteryear. Then no longer able to advance we climbed higher along a hillside then back down once again along the shoreline. Off into the distance I heard Jenny barking...making my way through the chest high willow bushes I heard branches snapping my heart pounded in my chest as I wondered what was coming my way. Then I heard the enraged cow moose begin to bellow...I stood to the side of the trail as she came within 4 feet when I jumped out and yelled she spun and took off in the opposite direction.
