I should find out my score on my History Exam soon! I have discovered the benefits of studying all of the links, and especially important is the Bible at bringing this history in to a better light. The Jews have always been Ruled over by Persians, Greeks, Babylonian and Chaldean kings. The short stories in the Bible are powerful pictures of the past and of the present and of the future to come and is in almost every class providing some link...amazing! I like this story: There was these 3 Very Brave Men! (In a time of tribulation!) biblegateway/passage/?search=Daniel+3&version=KJV ...and this really mean king Nebuchadnezzar tries to enforce his desire upon the people for them to worship a golden image of his god. These 3 refused to do it. They stood up and stood apart. These three men were even thrown into a fire for not bowing...they did not run from the tribulation, but went through it...and not alone...Christ was with them...He came to save and he will not leave us...and just as in the days of Noah...He will provide a way for those who are obedient to his voice, and his will is gonna be done. God is not mad at his children, he loves and directs them so gently. It took Noah a long time to accomplish what God told him to do...Noah never argued with God about the strange orders he was given; The Three men had to be very brave and willing to die for their freedom of religion...even to go through the very hottest of fires. Christ was with them...and he is with us even now.
