I should probably drop a big thankyou bomb to everyone who made Crucible so great for me this weekend so here goes: Thanks to the GMs for being apparently tireless in their portrayals of NPCs and mustering of crew for amazing scenes. Claire, Patrick, Linda, Dave and Mark... you guys are a dream team of awesome! Particular shoutout to Mark as Grimmir... managing to play terrifying, enigmatic and... happy? All at once. Of course Dave as Giles too.. cant forget Giles. The NPCs and Admin team deserve a big mention too. I dont know all of you, but thankyou for going so hardcore to make this such a great event. Particular shoutouts to Anna, Gene, Annakin and Jordan for their behind the scenes work. Robert - you were an absolute pleasure to role play off - creating a sense of honour, history and pride in a character youve just been handed. Our interactions were brilliant and your reactions carried subtlety and realism. I loved how you took insult - that cool seething anger was obvious, yet held in check by your characters honour. It was lovely to watch. Saskia - youre always amazing, but Ill make your head a little bigger here - your Pale Host with the skull made the first part of the game for me. It was so great to be shown a consequence for mercy. Ive seen you in a lot of roles and all of them feel very different to play off. She was wonderful - you can communicate a lot without words! You and Leslie were HILARIOUS as the shepards too. Cant wait to herd some undead with you two next game ;) Shetland and his gang of tavern entrepreneurs were just a treat to interact with. You guys managed to bring this beautiful atmosphere to your tavern which mixed irreverant hilarity with an excellent, cosy atmosphere. Your chilli hot chocolates were divine! Sinéad and Paul were just amazing as the two Pale Host diplomats. Your dance with Martulio and your absolutely fabulous personas were great. You guys cracked me up and made me fond of you at the same time. And there were others.. so many others. I dont know all of you names, nor do I have all of you as friends on Facebook, but Id like to thankyou for bringing the world of Crucible to life! Player thanks to follow...!
