I should probably stop reading about and watching documentaries on astronomy and advanced physics. Its simply too grand a subject to wrap my feeble brain around. String theory and eleven dimensions was tough enough. Now the theory of Dark Matter is being confirmed by measuring gravitational distortion of light from distant sources. Am I alone in finding these theories both fascinating and vaguely unsettling? Terms like Almighty and infinite have become trite through overuse. Perhaps theres a tea party version of astronomy where we could just attribute anything disturbing to Obama.
