I showed this video to my kids so they understood why they were cold and wet (not that they minded). As every person on the planet posts an ice bucket challenge of themselves, their kids, their pets… it is tempting to roll your eyes at this point and be sick of this whole thing. But for those of you who havent met a patient with ALS, this video is sobering and gives a chilling picture of ALS and why we should continue to support ALS research any way we can. Only 10% of ALS runs in families like this one (most hits people sporadically) but the end result is always devastating.
