I sit here in my spot, and stare at your empty chair. I wonder what we might be talking about right now if you were sitting there. I wonder what it might be like to feel your hand in mine today. I wonder if we would be eating a home cooked meal or sneaking away to one of our treasured dining locations. I wonder what it would be like to for one day to have that piece of paper we never got to have. I wonder what our rings would have looked like. Would we have matching bands or have gone with more individualized choices. I dont think I am asking too much, but maybe I am. I just want one day, one day to hold your hand and for the whole world to know we finally figured it all out. We finally found the right choice. I want to enjoy just one day. Then I can go back to how it must be. Just that one day would be fill me up. I remember our picnic of herring, jerky and crackers, with a surprise dessert of poptarts i saved from breakfast. I remember staring at you for hours on that dock. So thankful we were finally at a place where love, timing and life just all fit perfectly. The day we spoke what our vows would be, and how we wanted a party to share all this happiness and love with everyone. I remember every line of your face, every shadow, every joyful tear. I remember that day, and our love. I miss you Meghan ...i miss you with every bit I have left of me. I just want to get lost in the memory of our days together. I love you.
