I sit outside on the lower deck in full view of the most amazing star filled sky. I am in awe, God is so amazing. It is the perfect time to be still and know that the God of the bible is the God of the universe, and is as, if not more active now than he was in the biblical days. There is just more chaos, dysfunction, physical and mental disease which has the potential to block him from our view. I am gratefully totally at peace within myself, and fill with more gratitude as I recall painful times of my past which I not only dreaded being sober minded and a lone with me. Earlier this evening I was lying in my hamoc, over my hard wood deck, one of the knots in the hamoc let loose, and Kerrie crashed to the deck below. The experience was stunning however not really painful. I was immediately grateful that I was not much more seriously injured (due to existing neck/disc injuries). Currently as I journal on my laptop, check emails and add a quick status update, the injured areas of my body are becoming more apparent. I am avoiding putting any weight on my right arm as I type, I belive it took the brunt of the fal. Another example of God Looking out for his child. Thank you Lord, that incident could have had a much worse outcome.
