I snapped some very quick images yesterday of my 6.5 week old Andalusian babies. This is a new line to me so at the moment, I dont have a clue as to how theyll end up. The lacing is very pronounced early but the feathers have some smut. My birds in the past have cleaned up that smuttiness when they go through the final juvenile moult. Lets hope it happens with these kids. I couldnt get all of them out of their run as they were dust bathing and had a dont disturb look about them! Picture 1 is an interesting female chick as shes darker than desired but has excellent and even lacing. Shell be a keeper whatever happens. I also like pullet 2. I think shell be quite nice. I have some lovely male chicks too but the best of them were up to their beaks in dust... I hope you like them. Please feel free to comment.
