I sorted through boxes, in the end, out of my list of things to do. Got through three, which is quite good going, covering stuff from (mainly) 2004-2008. Threw out a lot of business cards - so many people I met and saved the details of, but now have no idea who they were or how I met them. Others that I do remember, or even know well, but who I now keep track of by Facebook and whove had two or more address/phone number changes since that particular card. Margaret, Kylie, Richard, Robert, Meg, Megan, so many more. I even threw out an entire plastic holder of cards with only a quick check. I decided though to keep the card from the quiet, unassuming University of Manchester dude who came out for Science Week one year when I was working on related PR stuff, whom I met in a pub as a side effect of hanging around with Synchrotron folk. That Professor Brian Cox guy, wonder what ever happened to him? :-)
