I spent the better half of the day trying to determine how on earth I was going to thank so many people, while making sure that every single person, who has supported me, in some form or fashion, felt my sincerity. Whether it was words of encouragement from a virtual stranger getting plugged into what Im trying to achieve, or whether it was a donation from a friend, or from a friend of a friend, or from someone I have never even met. To the major contributions from local businesses and those from business owners Id never met. To the group of caring musicians and one incredibly skilled engineer, who donated their time and their talents to a little song I wrote called: Well Stand for You. To Michael Shotton, an amazing singer/songwriter/producer, who made every effort to make our song everything it needed to be, and more. To the young rising star with the voice of an angel and piano chops that would impress Mozart. To the young reporter/journalist, whose voice will be heard world-wide one day. To the singer/songwriters, young and old, who inspired our community with their powerful messages of inspiration through their beautiful music. To the four amazing ladies, who spoke at the event and who reach out to our youth to ensure that they feel love, hope and acceptance. To the couple of bar owners, who for weeks kept generously giving until the chairs were upside down on the tables. To the incredibly professional production team, who ensured that everything went off without a hitch. To the wonderful lady, who lovingly came to my rescue, with every effort to ensure that funds were raised to support my dream for a youth outreach program. To the guy named Dan, and to his lovely wife, Julie, whom I call the Friends for Harmony Intelligence Team. To that special someone, who believed that the world needed to hear the music in my heart ever since I was eight years old. To another special someone, whos been imagining with me ever since I was four years old. To my loving 87-year old grandmother, who said a prayer for me and told me she would be with me in spirit. To my loving brothers and their better halves, who came out to support me and to help me during the event, not to mention my oldest brother, who won the 50/50 draw and donated all his winnings back to my mission. To my loving and ever-supportive parents. To my loving sons, who motivate me to make the world a better place and who stayed up late last night to fill swag bags. And, last but not least, to my loving and very supportive husband, who can rock the drums like theres no tomorrow. Then, of course, theres that incredibly talented photographer, who captured the event through a lens that tells a story of a community, who came together one November night, to stand together, to inspire peace and kindness, love and fairness for ALL. Again, to my family, my friends, my community, my fellow musicians and songwriters, my fellow anti-bullying advocates, my supporters, and to my behind the scenes peeps...(you know who you are ♥), I sincerely thank you all, from the bottom of my heart, for your love and for your support. ~ Sandy
