I spent the evening with the most amazing people. Veterans, men, women, and their significant others came to the American Legion post 134 to talk about the sport and the club I love. These are people that risked their lives voluntarily to protect our country, and they came to here me talk. After a few beers, and more than a few laughs, 22 of them signed up to help start a BridgeCity Paddling veterans dragon boat team. It is my honor to have served with you, and a greater honor to now call you my teammates. Excited for what the future holds for us! Training starts now! We have room for more, so tell your friends. See you on the water.
