I spent the morning editing together a rough version of my planned anthology. I dropped every story Ive written- both flash fiction and proper short stories - into this file in the order I want them to appear in an effort to get some idea of what the length will be. To my suprise it turns out that, right now, all of my stories combined come to over 44,000 words at a length of 80 pages. Im holding off on any attempt at publishing this until after some of these stories have made their individual debuts ( Truant and Cognizant for example) so it likely wont be happening until some time in 2015. But its good to know that when I am ready to launch this thing, my personal anthology have enough substance to be worth pursuing a print version of. It will also almost certainly end up being longer that it is now, since Ill no doubt write more material in the interim. What can I say? I love working in the short fiction form. It appeals to me Its amazing to me, though. The collection may occupy the low end of the word count spectrum, but technically Ive already written the equivalent of a novel. (^^^)
