I spent this afternoon at an incredible break dancing competition here in Mazatlan, with crews from all over Mexico, Dj and judge from L.A., all ages in the crowd, and some great beats. Its good to see B-Boy culture alive and well in Mexico. There was only one female dancer in the competition, but she won her battle. It was awesome! Im gonna have to kick it old school tonight, and watch Colors. Still a very gritty, realistic movie, with none of the 80s cheese. As a guy who grew up in L.A. in that era, it feels honest, and is probably the root of my love for the Cholas;). Im back to the Sanguinary Priest tonight. Im ready to get the reds on the backpack up to where the rest of the parts are. I wont bother with the step-by-step on this part, Ill just blast through the layers instead. I will do the step-by-step for the engine glow, though. Ive done a bit of an experiment on a different Blood Angels figure Ive been working on. This is the highlight color Im planning to use for the Sang. Priest, mixing P3 Underbelly Blue into my P3 Khador Red Base for a lilac color. It will be finished with many glazes of P3 Red Ink to make the highlights look a bit less white.
