I didn’t want to produce it and have someone else direct it, because as someone in this industry, there is nudity in the film. I didn’t want it to become gratuitous or sensationalist because it’s there with purpose. A lot of the times, men don’t use it to further the plot. The story is new and fresh on a social level. It isn’t something that we’ve seen before.
