I started having muscle pain in 2003 that was triggered by a medication I was taking. By mid 2004 I was reduced to living in my recliner or bed and was only spending 6-8hrs a day awake. Only half of those coherent. The next 18mos I was going to OHSU twice a month for testing, evaluation and treatment. Mid-Dec. 2005 the Dr. from OHSU sent me home saying There is nothing more we can do for you. Go home and be as comfortable as possible.. I was a bit better but taking 15 prescriptions for only a minor improvement in pain level. I began looking for alternatives. Acupuncture didnt work nor any type of massage. Naturopaths & Osteopaths failed. A very good friend, Alan Calhoon, gave me a gift of Univeras Xtra. Truly amazing products you should check out. I threatened his life for trying to get me into another deal but I began to feel results quickly. Over the next 6-8 months I was about 75% pain free, had most of my energy back and was able to get back to working full time. As I got back into shape I was able to start officiating sports for fun, camaraderie and to stay activity. I maintained a decent physical lifestyle until Q4 2011. I had a non-traditional stroke in late Mar. that yr but was recovering well with minimal residual effects. Then my R shoulder went out and needed surgery. The muscle pains began to intensify and over the next 2 yrs they started to get pretty bad again along with some typical, but unknown to me, stroke recovery issues. Read Kevin Sorbo Official Facebook Page story of recovery from his strokes for an example.By June of 2013 I had a lot of muscle pain but I had also aggravated the arthritis in my L shoulder, the R SI joint, developed 3 bulging discs in my neck, moderate carpal tunnel with Ulnar nerve pinching in boths arms & hands then finally 2 orthopedic issues in my lower back that I no longer cared about knowing details of. So that brings us to about 4mos. ago. By this time Id seen 5 different specialist in 4 different disciplines who all scratched their heads and shrugged their shoulders about the same way. While waiting for acceptance into a multi-disciplinary pain management program in Tigard I got wind of the technology I mentioned in my last major status update. Ive finished my 1st week of Scenar treatments and I am absolutely dumbfounded. At the amazing results Ive had. I havent been this pain free since June of last year and then about the end of 2003 before that. So thank you very much for those of you that have followed along whether from the start in the early 00s or more recently. The love, support, commiseration, challenges to keep fighting, prayers, scoldings and letting me know that some of you have travelled a similar path. All this has been a great support and rock to stand steady on. Its not done yet. A few more weeks of Scenar treatment, 6 weeks in the pain management program and 4 possible surgeries but for the 1st time in a long time I feel like Im looking at the downward slope after cresting the mountain. Love yall. Veronica Cole Harper that was for you)
