I started watching this video and at the beginning I thought this is typical Fox News selling news with fear and using any and all opportunities to blame the current administration for the state of the military. Completely disregard the fact that this decade long war on two fronts started long before and costs trillions of dollars and is simply unsustainable. But as long as we can cast blame then we are contributing to the dilemma, Right??? But just when I thought I knew exactly where this was going, in fantastic fashion, the topic quickly turns to racist propaganda. When will Americans stop pointing fingers and playing the victim card and unite as a country and lead from the front. We are too occupied attacking one another instead of working together to solve the real issues at hand. Im not saying we should forget our past. It is important to understand our heritage, to learn from our history. Our lessons to our children should be that of love and the constant pursuit of learning from our mistakes so that we dont repeat the mistakes of our fathers. These lessons should not breed hate, division and complacency but foster love, unity and progression. The longer we quarrel about events of the past the more we disregard the importances of the present. “We must learn to live together as brothers or perish together as fools.” -Martin Luther King Jr.
