I stayed at a guys place a month to help him a few years ago..Almost everyday came he to me and said that they had cooked dinner and I should come and eat.I said no I don´t want your food I can buy my own.But he begged that i should come and eat and so i did.After awhile did he call his friends and called me a parasite,that i lived on him.he came almost everyday anyway and told me to eat with them.I said no,than did he say that if others would find out that I don´t get anything to eat from him would they be mad..He came one day and said that he needed to fix the roof on his house.When I had my days off and he were at home did i tell him that we can fix the roof today. Every time I offered my help ,did he say not to day.After awhile did a common friend say that he complained that I not helped him.It was like psycho terror staying there.
