I stepped into this week with my normal to do list, my agenda and my list of what needs to be done. Then the phone rings Monday night and its a friend on the other line living out a major crisis right now. So, I stepped into her world the next day, and first hand saw, how bad things are, which then leads me to being with her everyday this week. Now its Friday, my list is a mile long of things that need done and in the back of my head, I know, I need to go spend another portion of my day with her. God in his WAYS has showed me so many things this week. Even though today will probably end up crazy, (I am thankful for my family who has stepped in this week and covered things at home) I am thankful that I serve a mighty God who is full of grace, and mercy, and patience and love and who takes us just right where we are. Not sure, what my friends journey is going to look like. She has a lot of hard days ahead of her. This week, one of my prayers has been, God I want to be so tuned in, that when you want to use me and you place people in my path, that I am obedient immediately. Because really at the end of the day, my to do list is nothing in comparison to things that matter eternally. I want to live a life in FULL surrender and that its truly not about me!
