I still cannot come to term with the reality that a region which is about to execute a girl of 14, which practises sharia law as against the secular constitution of Nigeria, a region which always oppose any proposal which is bound to bring meaningful developments to the whole country, that opposes state police which is obtainable in every federal states across the world, a region that supports quota system against meritocracy, a region that kills enmass at the slightest provocation and lacks almost every ingredients of a civilized world is now the political ally of my region. My region which prides itself as the land of the progressives, civilized, educated, sophisticated. A region known the world over for academic exploits on the African continent has willing submitted itself to the position of a “junior partner” in an unholy alliance, an accord which isnt gonna serve the long term interests of my people in anyway, rather it was born out a desire to do away with Goodluck Jonathan the perceived enemy of the two block in this alliance.
