I still got the orig vinyl of this... ___________________________________________________ On Jan. 11, 1967, The Jimi Hendrix Experience began recording their song Purple Haze at De Lane Lea Studios in London. They werent happy with the way it was going. On Feb. 3, 1967, Jimi Hendrix started re-recording the song at Londons Olympic Studios. Jimi found the sound he had been looking for. He began working with (the now legendary) engineer Eddie Kramer. Eddie was the engineer who was available for that session. He was not requested by Jimi.
