I still maintain that Manasseh Awuni Azure should be given the Journalist of Year Award for the singular reason that his investigative piece led to the uncovering of the massive rots at GYEEDA. That singular act has resulted in massive savings by the State,indeed he deserves a National Award,in the nature of ORDER OF THE VOLTA(MERIT DIVISION). I think that he has done better than most Journalists that former President Kuffour gave these National Honors to. Until he blocked me on facebook,I had reason(s) to believe that he was a brother or friend. Brother,because I think that we had the opportunity to share a few thoughts together at Bush Canteen,Legon Campus,at the time I was doing my LLB. He spent most of his growing days at Krachi,where my mum hails from. But like our elders say,you cant see tomorrow by climbing the tallest tree. I just read a shared post of his on a friends wall,he appears to have taken his criticism or attack on the President to a different level,this time around by endorsing the tweet from the US Embassy Ghana. It is his democratic and constitutional right,so to do. We must draw a clear distinction between certain events,the US Embassy for whatever reason(s) has decided to apologize to the President and people of Ghana. It is at this point u think it is appropriate for u to endorse same,yes u may hate,dislike or better still be disappointed in the President John Dramani Mahama,but we must just be a bit cautious. There is a way that seemeth right but the end,may just be about pressing the SELF DESTRUCT BUTTON. Enemies today,friends tomorrow,especially in POLITICS. I saw former President Kuffour dancing with Former First Lady Konadu,the very woman he tried rather unsuccessfully to prosecute. #POLITICS IS A DIRTY GAME
