I stopped at the rest area on top of the hill in LAS CRUSES N.M the other morning the road runner was remover that had been up there for a many many years, going out I seen with much happiness that it had returned in a much needed face lift so on my way back I stopped like I said going to make a pic of the new one, shut my truck off checked my unit went inside took care of businesse and came back out!I got challenged!! Didnt see him ! But I heard him! When I seen him I froze a second my heart was racing out of my chest!! As I started to move slowly back to my sleeper door he got aggressive and took the Im gonna hurt you position! I slowly opened my sleeper door and got my long stick I have and then I approached him! I tried to hit him in the head but he lunged forward at me causing me to miss! I swung again hitting him this time and shoved him up against the stear tire.. a lady was asking if she could help and I said yes PLEASE get my knife beside the door .. she got the knife and I began working on him. I think I stopped breathing the entire time! The sound he was making slowly faded and that was the end of this fight!! He will never bother another person again!!! This will teach him to mess with a country girl!!!! Just sayin! Oh yeah and I kept a souvenir too.
