I stopped using plastic bottles two years ago. We have NO excuse to purchase water in a plastic bottle. Look it up, tap water (municipal water) is safer and cleaner than bottled, because it is regulated and mandatory water tests are conducted on a frequent, regular basis; whereas, bottled-water companies do not have to adhere to any regulations and guess what, many of the big companies, like Nestles are stealing tap water from municipalities and claiming it is fresh spring water. We are drinking tap water anyway, so why destroy ecosystems and murder birds by using and discarding 9.5 millions plastic bottles and caps, that birds think are food. Buy a glass or stainless steel water bottle, fill it one-third full, freeze it, and then fill it up for a supply of fresh, cold tap water for your next hike, walk or run!!! Please sign the pledge!
