I studied for creative art director...and those days of pre-computer everything we learned was still very much a manual artisan thing. yes we had a range 15.000 different shades of colours in felt markers. When I finally won the second prize in my last school year in St-Lukas Brussels in designing a poster for the 50th anniversary of Lintas SS&B Brussels Worldwide, I was entitled for an internship for 6 months...but I knew the commercial world was not my world and finally opted out of that job. I pursued a job of comics and cartoons and finally went into the arts with a big letter A. However at school I learned how to work with sticky letters of the brand Letraset. When I went back to see my mum in Belgium last year, I found a portfolio with old school stuff and sheets of Letraset in them: something in me told me to do something creative with them.
