I stumbled upon this page a few weeks ago. I have been exactly where a lot of you are. My beautiful son Zack is an IV meth addict. Hes 20 years old. He has been incarcerated for 14 months now. Ive been able to breathe. And sleep. Knowing that hes eating, sleeping, has a warm bed and is protected from himself. His 115 lb self has gotten to a healthy 170 lbs (praise!). Hes known The Lord since he was 15. During his jail time, weve talked on the phone and in letters about how God led him to where he is now to save his life. I just have to continue to have faith in the Faithful One and believe that Zack will continue his path of sobriety when he gets out in February. My heart literally aches when I read these post and I want you all to know that I stand in the gap with you, for your sons and daughters; and for my own. God is the ONLY way this evil of addiction can be overcome. I found this poem in a very dark moment. I hope this is a sign to someone out there that God hears you like it was for me all those months ago when I found it.
