I suffer from Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy in my dominant (left) hand- its painful & complicated as a result on falling in ice onto a milk bottle. I also suffer from fybromialgia- painful & debilitating. I live with both(best option cos I will die with both) & try to remain cheerful - who wants a maungy person?. Yet according to a medical assessment- carried out by a nurse- there is nothing wrong with me & the pittance I was paid because of these 2 complaints & all complications has been denied & I have to wait- up to 18 months for a tribunal for my appeal. I abhor violence - but should I go out & commit some horrendous crime- then in prison- I will get much needed free medication, 3 meals a day & no worries? No- I will fight for my rights- if I landed in UK from anywhere else- having paid NO taxes I would be given benefits far in excess of minimum wage. I loved teaching & if I could- I would work hours rather than flopped on settee or bed, exhausted or in agony.
