I support all five Green Party candidates in the Delaware - TopicsExpress

I support all five Green Party candidates in the Delaware elections and I urge all my friends to do the same, because the Democrats with rare courageous exceptions are corporate to the core; they just don’t brag about it like the Republicans. David Chandler for Treasurer. A brilliant mathematician and a lifelong progressive, culturally and politically. He will use his position on the Pardons Board to fight the racist “New Jim Crow,” which Democrats have implemented with a vengeance. Note also how the Dems threw Chick Flowers under the bus when he challenged crony capitalist control of state finances. David McCorquodale for State House of Representatives (21st) district. While I live in the 24th, I urge my friends in Pike Creek to vote for a man of integrity and progressive vision. Dave is Chair of the Green Party of Delaware and is active in the national organization. Dave proposes a Green New Deal, something close to the heart of this retired autoworker who has seen both auto plants in Delaware close with no vision for sustainable industry to replace them. Having run over a hundred marathons, Dave will go the distance for Delawareans. Facebook at David McCorquodale DE State Rep. for District 21. Bernie August, for U. S. Congress, is a fellow autoworker from GM and one of my Occupy Delaware comrades. He will focus on issues of poverty, housing, state-run mental health facilities, the prison-industrial complex, and labor rights. He also opposes the corporate take-over of local schools and the shredding of teacher’s labor rights, another project of the Dems. His website is bernieaugustforuscongress.us. Andrew Groff for U. S. Senate. Andy has broad experience in business, but he accepts no contributions from the corporations he says have bankrupted this country and outsourced too many good jobs overseas. Actions of our Democratic and Republican federal delegates, such as banking deregulation, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and the Patriot Act, he says, all show a fundamental disregard for democracy. His website is andrewgroffforsenate.us. Catherine Damavandi for Attorney General. An experienced prosecuting attorney, Damavandi has hitched her wagon to the Green Party to reform an office that fails to protect the vulnerable, prosecute corporate criminals, or use funds from mortgage bank fraud settlements to reach out and help victim homeowners. Her website is Catherine4ag. For a comparison of Greens with Dems and Repubs nationally, see gp.org/what-we-believe/the-real-difference
