I suppose I could have written an opinion when I posted this. Im not hating on Zoe at all. From what Ive seen of her I really like her as a person, and I am a fan of her acting. I am of course a huge fan, as most of us are, of Nina Simone. I do wish, at this point, 2 years later, we could stop all of the negative and harsh criticism of Zoe. From what I know of her work and work ethic, she will give everything she has to represent Nina Simone the best way she can. Who are any of us to say at this point that its not enough or she wont do well? I am reserving any judgment on the movie until I view it. Can we at least lower the red black and green flags of resistance until then? Im supporting it. And Zoe. And Nina.
