I suspect the western media have strongly misrepresented the opposition. Yes, they preach anti-corruption, democracy and human right, but human right exclude a major ethnic minority. The anti-Vietnamese rhetoric is identical to the Burmese Muslim-hate, and it appears that whereas the media has focussed on ruling party vote-rigging, what has also happened is that gangs have prevented Vietnamese Cambodian citizens from exercising their electoral rights, and murdered some. Ugliness all round.
