I switched Gavin to a new school last year cause I didnt like how his other school handled his issues. When I switched him the principal told me they would never send him home, its not how they do things. Last year she kept her word, this year is another story. Ive had to pick him up early multiple times. Yes my child has issues, yes Im doing everything I can possibly think of to help him, but its like the school doesnt care, just send him home so they dont have to worry about it anymore. Dont know what else I can do, the school doesnt want to work with me, I give them suggestions and they shoot them down. Teachers, principals and school counselors have repeatedly told me to have him tested for ADD cause they were sure he had it, I told them he didnt, but they didnt want to listen. For arguments sake Gavins therapist did an ADD screening and what do you know, he doesnt have it. I mention it to the school and its like ever since then they dont want to do anything to help. Sorry Im not going to pump my child full of pills to make your job easier. He needs help, I need help and their solution is to send him home, sorry but that is not the right answer!!
