I talk about early intervention constantly, to anyone that will listen. I see a 1 year old toddler walking on their toes, I stop to tell them to call early intervention. Its a FREE federal program and is life changing. And not just for autism - for anything! I fully credit Chilles remarkable normalcy to early intervention. You cannot imagine how Chille had NO REALIZATION of his right side of his body and so many other issues. Doctors said he wouldnt walk, wouldnt hear, and would have below average intelligence. I had early intervention at my house twice a day five days a week from the time he was two months old. Chille is who he is today because of early intervention and it is available across our country and costs nothing. Why? Because investing in children at ages 0-3 will save billions of dollars in the long run.
