I talked to the vets office this a.m. The xray consult is back and Phelan has aspiration pneumonia. What or how he aspirated, who knows. The point is, we have confirmation of what it is and he is being treated accordingly. He is already on one antibiotic, and another one will be added in as you have to aggressively fight/treat pneumonia in a deep chested dog. Thank you everyone for your encouragement and prayers. I dont think I could have stood losing another pet this year. I was as low as one can get yesterday and actually still be breathing. So much loss this year. Yes, they were pets, but they are what I have in my life and they are important to me. Pets give you unconditional love unlike most people. Anyway, I am grateful and thankful for the people that are my friends and family, my husband and all my critters. I am thankful and grateful for my home and for the husband who works so hard on my behalf. I am, truly blessed. 💖 Happy New Year and to a great 2015!!!
