I tell my kids, today is a coat, hat, hood, scarf, gloves, boots day. It is bitter cold. So of course they roll their eyes and mutter under their breath. Get them all beyond bundled up, we step outside, and one second later they say, Its not that bad out. No shit...that was the point of mummifying them...so they wouldnt feel the extreme cold. I should let them run outside in their PJs when they first wake up so they can see the difference. SMH
