I think I could write a doctoral thesis about Atom (tm)s performance last night at the EMP. At one point he covers The Whos My Generation, but turns the stuttering vocal of the original into Max Headroom inspired digital glitch art, while commenting on the self infatuated You Tube generation by using his own face as the talking head, all the while highlighting the stark difference between the sense of impending revolution of the 1960s to the passive consumption of banal user created media (YouTube/FB) that was supposed to result in democratization of the media but has, in fact, resulted in the isolation of each of us in our obsession with........ Anyway - it friggin rocked.
