I think I have posted Jake before, but if not, meet Jake a handsome black and tan, longhair Dachshund. Jake makes me smile every day. He is happy and loves his tennis balls, he will run and get one to greet me. His tail only stops wagging when he is sound asleep. He appears to be totally house trained (I will not put that in writing in blood... :D ) He gets along wonderfully with other dogs but will steal the tennis ball if someone else tries to get away with it. We thought we had a home for him but they were adopting another and decided to take two at this time was not a good idea for them. He is happy to be a lap dog and happy to chase the tennis balls! I really hope we find his forever home for him soon.
