I think I just killed a brown recluse spider. In case you arent familiar, the brown recluse is one of two spiders in North America whose bite is medically significant (the other is the black widow). That being said, I was apologizing the whole time...is that normal? Lol :) Btw, before I get hate mail about not releasing him: Im not a monster...Im allergic to all spiders...which makes me naturally afraid of them. Plus, the recluse bite can be fatal, even without an allergy. So, if I get bitten, Im likely screwed. I was trying to keep it in tact so I could have it identified, but I got really close (scared the crud out of me) and it REALLY looked like a recluse. The kitty was messing with it and I couldnt take the chance of it hurting her so I had to squish it. I still feel bad killing it, lol...Im not like a weirdo hippee or anything but I still feel bad when I kill bugs on purpose, like when I have to watch them die. I worked at a tanning salon and had to kill this HUGE millipede. I kept spraying him with bug spray and he got slower and slower and like sunk into the floor, I apologized the whole time with him too and it even made me cry, lol...I need serious help :)
