I think I want to do an opera. Duke Bluebeards Castle. it has two singing roles... a bass (or bass-baritone) and a soprano (or mezzo), it has a spoken prologue by an actor who plays a Bard (sometimes it is the actual bass that speaks this part), and it has several women that silently play Bluebeards uh.. ex-wives. it is in one act, it is horrifying, and it is by Bartok... oh wait, I already said it was horrifying. :D maybe do it with 2 pianos... if there are any takers, i would love to chat, as this would be one of the simpler operas to put together(as it has no giant cast)... well, simple to put together other than the fact we need an operatic bass... and that the music is really hard. other than that, though....!!!!!! :D
