I think Ill call this installment from the Tavern Too old for rock and roll but too young to die. However that wouldnt be completely accurate. Maybe instead it should be Too old for rock and roll but I can still make a mean chili. Somehow that doesnt have the same ring. Whatever... I made what I call Super Bowl Chili today. Tried very hard to keep the heat down so our guests on Super Bowl Sunday dont fall over in fiery agony. Think I succeeded. Nothing more potent than Jalapeno, Serrano peppers, and Guajillo pepper based chili powder. Add to that red onions, tomatoes, beans, garlic, etc. and yumminess abounds. Speaking of hot... Last night I gigged with The Crimestoppers. Heres a synopsis: Loud loud loud music. (My ears are still ringing.) Bouncers throwing a dude out for starting a fight. And beautiful women pulling their shirts up. Too old for rock and roll? I dont think so. Bet you wish you were there. Cheers.
