I think Robin Williams was a great comedian because he was very empathetic. I think that same empathy for people made him depressed cuz obviously our society has a lot of issues. I know when I hear all nasty things people do, I can relate and that same empathy brings me down. For example : If a friend of mine has relationship issues and is suffering I remember the stuff I went through and it takes a bit of work to keep myself from thinking things are hopeless and everything sucks. Im sure FB and social media make it even worse..
