I think Star Trek V and Star Trek into Darkness are both considered to be my least favorite Star Trek movies. The only great parts of Into Darkness was the USS Enterprise vs the USS Vengence, Benedict Cummberbacths performance as Khan Noonien Singh, and the performances of Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Karl Urban, John Cho, Simon Pegg, Bruce Greenwood, and Peter Wellers. I also like the scene were Kirk, Spock, and Uhura, go to the planet Kronos, the home planet of the Klingons. Overall, I think Star Trek: Into Darkness would have been a better film if they changed the climax, made the movie more about the characters than the action, cut out that ridculous scene with Carol Marcus (it was poorly acted), and make the movie less of a remake of the T.O.S. episode Space Seed and the movie Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan....Also I just think the characters Pavel Chekov and Nyota Uhrua were poorly written. I hope Star Trek 13 (Star Trek 3 for the mainstream audiences) turns out to be a better film. On the bright side its a good movie to pass the time. With Star Trek V, I dont think I really need to talk about it since its been around for a long time.
