I think The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly is actually much weaker than Fistful of Dollars and For A Few Dollars More. Not only does it have the worst music, its way too long, and the story is rather tame by comparison. But on IMDBs top 250 films, its at number 7! Where as For A Few Dollars more is at 100. Thats ridiculous. Watch them side by side and youll see. Same goes for Alien and Aliens. Aliens is everyones favourite, but watch them side by side. The Dark Knight (at number 4? Oh come on ¬_¬)and Avatar (not on the list, surprisingly) both are mediocre films. The only reason they got hyped was cause Heather Ledger was fantastic as The Joker, and everything James Cameron does gets hyped to buggery anyway. Skyfall was awful. Yea it was better than Quantum of Solace, but youve forgotten how great Casino Royale was. People like to feel united, whether it be liking things together, or hating things together, and I feel like people latched on to some films and everyone decides its great, and I cant see why.
