I think anyone who was born here, whose forefathers came to be here for whatever reason, deserve to be bumiputera because they all helped build OUR beloved country. My grandfathers heritage is Kapitan Keling, 1 grandmother a Hokkien, another originates from Yunan. Yes, the motherland. My take is this- We are ALL living on borrowed land, borrowed time... Whats wrong with sharing with each other? Ill tell u what i think a pure Malay is, or SHOULD be- someone who has some, if not ALL the different blood from all our indigenous races. If u cannot say u have at least 2, then u cannot be Malaysian. Youre just... you.
