I think have I found a solution for mold forming on your seed starting mix that happens sometimes when you have the seed covered with a clear lid to raise the humidity. I used that hand disinfectant gel to rub the insides of the cartons I used to start the seeds with and I made sure I rubbed my hands with the gel when I patted down the soil. As of today, I still have no mold and no seedling collapse. At last! The impatience have finally germinated as well as the alyssum. Now, only the lobelia to go.
