I think in four or five years of my being on FB in have clicked through on the ads on the right three times. Why doesnt someone, advertiser or revenue enhancement department at FB take notice of that? Either the ads are of no interest (yeah, there are hot women in Monsey and Sufffern looking for 55year old men. Yeah.) or just stop trying to monetize the site in that fashion. If I want something I will go looking for it. Suggesting is usually wrong, or late (Lowes, save your money. I searched for a lawn mower on Google six months ago and bought one at a garage sale). It would certainly make the site much cleaner for me so that when they did figure out a better way to monetize I would be more receptive.
