I think instead of something called Welfare there should be Workfare. If recipients are to receive a check from the government they will have to abide by these rules and regulations. Theoretically speaking of course: First - drug testing to receive any money. Secondly - work programs such as our aging infrastructure, roads, bridges, erosion, food service in schools and prisons, border patrol...30 - 40 hour work weeks. Thirdly - Birth control for all men and women on Workfare and a one child limit...we should not be paying for three four and five kids. Fourthly - A lower stipend if youre NOT working, higher amount if you are...two payment tiers. Ok Im done. Needed to share that and I feel better :-)
