I think it is high time we began to engage in intellectual debate, void of prejudice, sentiments, ethnicity and bias about GEJ & GMB. I cant disagree more with anyone who is soliciting for another 4 year term for GEJ. GEJ has demonstrated a high degree of incompetence, insensitivity, mediocrity, mismanagement of funds, corruption, etc in his 6 years in the Presidency. A lot of uncompleted projects that have gulped $Billions eg East-West Road, 2nd Niger Bridge, shambolic refurbishment of MMA Lagos, NA Abuja, the list is endless. Under GEJ watch $8m was flown to SA, N20Bill NNPC money cant be accounted for, N800mil NPF Pension Fund disappeared, EFCC Boss Farida Waziri was removed for going after corrupt National Assembly members, Nigeria is witnessing gradual fragmentation, 250 Chibok girls are still in captivity, Boko Haram has taken over the North Eastern part of Nigeria, Public Schools are gradually becoming history, Nigeria Foreign Reserve has been reduced significantly, epileptic power supply, unemployment, insecurity, etc. GEJ has run out of ideas on how to solve Nigeria enormous problems. He has done his best for 6 years & theres no guarantees that he can do better if given another 4 years. Time is of the essence & it waits for no one. I strongly believe that, Nigeria deserves a better leader that can be revered by the rich and the poor. We cant afford to pretend that all is well, that Jonathan should continue. Posterity will not forgive us if we condone corruption, ineptitude, lackadaisical & feeble governance because of sentiments, ethnicity or religious affiliation and refuse a change when we have the opportunity to do so. In my view, Nigeria is bigger than any ethnic groups or class. Lets not sacrifice our integrity on the alter of our bellies & personal gains. GMB has the moral compose & the leadership qualities to save & bring required sanity to our dear country, Nigeria. Age is not a factor in choosing credible leadership. Those who are young have let us down eg Jonathan, Bsnkole, Ibori, Esther Odua, Farouk Lawan, Alasiemesiaga to mention but a few. If you truly love Nigeria, please drop unnecessary prejudice and lets install credible leader before our dear country is destroyed in our very eyes. Remain blessed. Happy Sunday. Femi Samuel.
