I think its actually time someone put right some of the quite obvious drivel being spouted by the owner of this page, so here goes: (1) There is a massive difference between causality and correlation - one shows that one thing causes another, the other indicates that like-minded people tend to share similar traits or characteristics. You are confusing the two on this page and it doesnt help your argument; (2) Two words: Ad hominem - look it up if you dont know it, but the short version is that whenever you appear to be losing an argument, you go off topic and start attacking the individuals characteristics or traits - its quite a common tactic for someone with limited knowledge on the subject, or a shallow argument; (3) There are countless millions of people across the world WITH tattoos who contribute massively every day to your and my safety, security, health and prosperity - if youre quoting statistics, more than 55% of our armed forces and ex-armed forces have a tattoo somewhere, more than 13% of medical staff and - thats right - 40% of those involved in law (source IPSOS Mori); (4) Evidence. Your continued affirmation that there is a causal link is known as confirmation bias (look it up too, if youre so inclined). The short version is that you are interpreting groups of facts from a position of having a preconception - thats neither fair nor scientific. In order to present an argument fairly and intelligently, you need to present the factual evidence to support your spouting, otherwise it remains your opinion and not a fact, and when you argue opinions, neither party if going to sway the other - all you will do is strengthen each others arguments. Okay, I am done - I have explained the errors on your page and with your opinions and I will leave it at that in the hope that you will address them. I wont be entering into a dialogue here, this is a one-shot post for me - not even if you revert to ad hominem attacks. In short, youre way-off if you think that academic, social, or common sense intelligence is at all connected to the existence or otherwise of a tattoo, and if you think it is then - whilst thats your right to hold the view - its also my right to blow-it-away with facts, and your view remains just that - your opinion - with no factual back-up whatsoever.
