I think its admirable that the Jewish community have such a professional set up. This is nothing new. Something I know they have had in Manchester for many years. For example if a female driver is involved in a car accident she calls them her brothers before the police they will come facilitate her onward / return journey home and deal with the situ. As a muslim woman what do I expect. .. sister why are you travelling alone. You should stay at home .... pfft look at your clothes. Perhaps its time for us Muslim women to step up and establish some sort of support network for our sisters out of hours even if ist a voice at the end of a line offering guidance.
