I think its time for women, especially Christian women to lend a voice to tame the combative woman. There are lessons from the scriptures from Proverbs, Romans, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, etc. (do I need to mention the chapters)...that speak to us as believers in Christ first and as women as well concerning the disposition we must allow ourselves to be carved into. The Tripple Z snap, the weave swinging from one side of our head to the other, the finger in the opponents face, the profanity, the pushing and shoving, and the digging-hitting below the belt insults, are so common place in how we women communicate when we are upset and angry. Cant we see how uncivilized we look? Do we care that we are just as much a deterant to peace as our opponents? Things are almost always responded to in an angry voice. We use anger to face anger. What is the outcome? And we seem so proud of our behavior. We could careless about the explosions in our relationships that we brought the match-struck the match-&-threw in on the gasoline of rage. When the smoke dies down the relationship is charred to remnants of what use to be and could have been. Not enough is left to hold it together, but we still want it. Now this is not about abusive men. I chose not to talk about them. My focus is on women right now. We dial mamas and sisters and friends and 911 on them in a quick minute, but this is not about them Eve, its about you. So how you doing? Ill ask you what I use to ask my girls after they had a disagreement, If I closed my mouth, and step out the room, and Christ materialized Himself infront of you right now, (cause you know Hes here) would you still be comfortable with what you said and what you did and how you did it?
